On today’s program we discuss the July 30, 1975 disappearance of James “Jimmy” R. Hoffa. Many theories have been batted around during the almost 40 years since that day. We all heard about him being buried in the Meadowland’s end zone where the Giants and Jets play.
But, the only creditable account has been the deathbed confession of Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran. Frank was the head of the Teamsters in Wilmington, Delaware and a close friend of Hoffa.
The story of Frank Sheeran is told by my guest Charles Brandt in his book “I Heard You Paint Houses”: Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran and the Inside Story of the Mafia, the Teamsters, and the Last Ride of Jimmy Hoffa
